Reiki, Kundalini, Energy Clearance, and Soul Healing
Restoring Energetic Balance and Whole-Person Wellness
Energy-based healing therapies such as Reiki healing, Kundalini energy work, negative energy clearance, and soul healing are increasingly integrated into modern holistic healthcare to support physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. These modalities are grounded in the understanding that health is influenced not only by biochemical and structural factors, but also by the flow and balance of subtle energy within and around the body. When this energetic system becomes disrupted by stress, trauma, illness, or emotional overload, symptoms may arise that affect overall vitality and resilience.
Historical Foundations of Energy Healing
Reiki healing originated in early 20th-century Japan through the work of Mikao Usui and is based on the transmission of universal life force energy through gentle, non-invasive touch or hands-off techniques. Kundalini healing has roots in ancient yogic and tantric traditions, where kundalini energy is described as a dormant life force at the base of the spine that, when safely activated, supports expanded awareness, healing, and personal transformation. Negative energy clearance and soul healing draw from diverse spiritual and shamanic traditions that recognize the impact of emotional imprints, environmental stressors, and unresolved experiences on the energetic body.
Although these practices arise from different cultural lineages, they share a common goal: restoring balance, clearing energetic blockages, and supporting the body’s innate capacity for healing.
Indications and Therapeutic Applications
Energy healing therapies are commonly used as supportive care for individuals experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, emotional imbalance, fatigue, pain syndromes, sleep disturbances, grief, trauma, or a sense of energetic depletion. Patients may also seek treatment during major life transitions, recovery from illness, or alongside conventional and complementary medical therapies.
In clinical settings, Reiki and related energy modalities are often integrated to support nervous system regulation, emotional grounding, and stress reduction. By calming the sympathetic “fight or flight” response and encouraging parasympathetic activity, energy healing may help improve sleep quality, mood stability, pain perception, and overall wellbeing. Negative energy clearance and soul healing specifically aim to address lingering emotional or energetic patterns that may contribute to stagnation or repeated imbalance.
What to Expect During a Session
A typical energy healing session is gentle, non-invasive, and deeply relaxing. Clients remain fully clothed while lying comfortably on a treatment table. Healing may be performed with hands placed lightly on or just above specific areas of the body, or work within the client’s energetic field or from a discrete distance in deference to the patient’s preferences. Sensations vary and may include warmth, tingling, emotional release, deep relaxation, or a meditative state. Some clients experience subtle shifts over time rather than immediate changes.
Kundalini healing is conducted with particular attention to safety and grounding, ensuring that energy activation remains supportive rather than overwhelming. Negative energy clearance and soul healing sessions may incorporate intention-setting, guided awareness, and energetic release techniques tailored to the individual’s needs.
Safety and Efficacy
Energy healing modalities are considered low-risk and safe when provided by trained practitioners. They are non-diagnostic and non-invasive, making them appropriate for a wide range of individuals, including those who may not tolerate more physically intensive therapies. Reiki, in particular, has been studied in hospital and outpatient settings, with evidence supporting its role in stress reduction, pain management, anxiety relief, and improved quality of life. While energy healing should not replace medical diagnosis or treatment, it is widely used as an adjunctive therapy to enhance patient comfort, emotional balance, and overall treatment outcomes.
In her integrative care model, Dr. Yelverton thoughtfully incorporates Reiki healing, kundalini energy work, negative energy clearances, past life and soul healing to complement acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and other holistic modalities, using the multiple therapies to help clear energetic congestion, restore balance to the nervous system, and support deeper healing on emotional and spiritual levels.
Energy healing therapies offer a compassionate, integrative approach to wellness that acknowledges the interconnected nature of body, mind, and spirit. Through gentle yet profound techniques, Reiki, kundalini healing, negative energy clearance, and soul healing provide meaningful support for stress relief, emotional clarity, and energetic balance, making them valuable components of comprehensive integrative healthcare. By addressing both the physical and energetic aspects of health, they enhance the effectiveness of other complementary treatments and support the body’s natural ability to return to a state of harmony. Sessions are individualized and aligned with each patient’s goals, constitution, and overall care plan.
Reiki sessions last from 25–45 minutes and generally include direct clearance of negative influences, multilevel Reiki and Kundalini healing, aura repair, temporal and past life healing, soul healing and chakra balancing where appropriate. Dr. Yelverton performs her sessions either in real time presence with you or packages the entire healing as a chi ball which you open and receive after she leaves the room to give you privacy. The total visit time will run from 45–60 minutes.
Acupuncture with Reiki Addition
In Dr. Yelverton’s clinical experience, the integration of Reiki healing into acupuncture treatments creates a synergistic effect that enhances therapeutic outcomes beyond what either modality typically achieves on its own. This is particularly evident when Reiki is combined with extraordinary vessel acupuncture treatments, which are traditionally used to address deeper constitutional imbalances, long-standing conditions, and issues with a strong emotional or psycho-spiritual component.
Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points to regulate the flow of qi through the meridians, influencing the nervous system, circulation, and organ function. Reiki, by contrast, engages the biofield more globally, encouraging coherence and balance across physical, emotional, and energetic layers. When applied simultaneously, Reiki appears to amplify the calming and regulatory effects of acupuncture, helping patients settle more deeply into a parasympathetic state. This can be especially beneficial for individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms, chronic stress, anxiety, grief, or somatic manifestations of emotional distress.
From a patient perspective, the experience is seamless. Reiki is delivered concurrently during the acupuncture session and does not extend the overall treatment time. Patients often report a deeper sense of grounding, emotional release, and post-treatment clarity when the two therapies are combined. Some describe a more sustained response between visits, with improved sleep, mood regulation, and resilience to stressors.
Clinically, this integrated approach supports the principle that emotional and energetic imbalances can influence physical symptoms and treatment responsiveness. By addressing both meridian-based and field-based aspects of health, acupuncture with Reiki addition allows for a more comprehensive and individualized healing experience. This combination reflects an integrative care philosophy that honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, and subtle energy systems, while remaining gentle, non-invasive, and adaptable to a wide range of patient needs.
Distance Reiki Healing
Distance Reiki healing is an established component of Reiki practice and is based on the understanding that biofield interactions are not limited by physical proximity. As a Reiki Master, Dr. Yelverton offers distance Reiki, kundalini healing, and energetic clearances to established Reiki patients within her practice, providing continuity of care when in-person sessions are not feasible or when additional energetic support is indicated between visits.
These sessions are performed using a chi ball technique, in which she first evaluates the patient’s energetic state and therapeutic needs. Based on this assessment, an individualized treatment is designed, energetically encoded, and “packaged” for later activation. Patients are then instructed on how to consciously call in the treatment at a time that feels supportive and uninterrupted, allowing for a calm and receptive state.
Once activated, distance Reiki sessions typically last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on how quickly the individual assimilates the energy. Experiences vary and may include deep relaxation, emotional release, warmth, subtle sensations, or a meditative awareness. Some patients notice immediate shifts, while others report gradual improvements over subsequent days as the nervous system and energetic field integrate the treatment.
Distance Reiki is often used to support stress management, emotional balance, recovery from illness, and energetic maintenance, as well as during periods of travel, acute life stressors, or physical limitation. While it does not replace medical or in-person care, it serves as a valuable adjunct that reinforces ongoing treatment plans. By offering this modality, Dr. Yelverton extends integrative support beyond the treatment room, helping patients maintain energetic balance and continuity of healing within their daily lives.
