Dr. Cheryl Yelverton, an acupuncturist and medical doctor, serves Margate, Coconut Creek, and Coral Springs, Florida. A Duke-trained surgeon with fellowship training in oncology, she practiced for nearly 15 years before retiring in 2019. Her own surgical experiences, including hip replacements, led her to explore acupuncture for pain management and recovery. After transformative results, she studied acupuncture at the University of Miami and now blends medical and traditional approaches, continuing advanced training at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine.
